History
About 1,700 years ago, Empress Jingu is said to have set up an altar on Mt. Miyaji and prayed to the gods of heaven and earth before departing for Korea. The grounds include the nationally designated historic site Miyajidake Tumulus. Business prosperity and warding off misfortune are the main blessings given on the official site; the Okunomiya Gobansha is called the "Shrine of Love," but no related explanation could be found there.
